Personal Bio:

My sailing career began in Optis at Larchmont Shore Club when I was nine years old and continued onto ILCA 6s (then called "Laser Radials") when I was fourteen. I raced the JSA circuit throughout my time at LSC but ultimately became much more serious about racing and coaching competitive sailors after I graduated from Mamaroneck HS in 2011 and began coaching at Larchmont YC. Since then, I graduated from Boston College (Class of 2015), and worked as a coach and director of sailing programs at various clubs/organizations throughout CT, NY, FL and Melbourne, Australia. Nowadays you can find me at SUNY Maritime during the school year where I work with both dinghy and offshore (AKA big boat) sailors as the Assistant Coach for the school's varsity sailing team.

Fun Fact:

I spent the first two school years after I graduated college working as a teacher at an elementary school in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
