AYC Rye Rumble

The 2022 AYC Rye Rumble is open to all RYC junior sailors in Barracuda or above. Priority will be given to our Recreational Junior Sailing classes. Participants will be divided into boats for the Distance Sail and Rye Rumble based on experience and friend groups.

Participants will be invited to go on a distance sail on Tuesday, July 5th to transport participating RYC Hobies, Fevas, and Skiffs to American Yacht Club (AYC). Parents will be responsible for picking their Junior Sailor up from AYC on Tuesday afternoon. Participants on the Distance Sail should pack a waterproof bag with drinks, lunch, and snacks for the sail to AYC.

For the day of the Rye Rumble, parents are responsible for transporting their Junior Sailor to AYC. The coaches will meet you at AYC. After the event, participants will tow back to RYC for pick-up. If you would like to pick-up from AYC directly please indicate accordingly on your registration below. Any Junior Sailors not picked-up at AYC in that window will join the tow back to RYC.

Please note that both the distance sail on Tuesday and the Rye Rumble on Wednesday are all day events. Please plan accordingly.
