Believe it or not, it's time to start thinking about Spring/Summer 2020 racing.

This course is extremely user friendly with content that is valuable for anyone on or who would like to join the RYC Race Committee team. If you are a longstanding PRO/Race Committee member US Sailing recommends a refresher course every four years. If you are new to RYC or new to Race Committee this same course is a great place to start.

This seminar covers regatta safety, each Race Committee position/job, equipment used, writing NOR and Sailing Instructions, setting a proper course, starting systems, starting penalties, racing penalties, finishing and scoring. You will need to bring a copy of the Racing Rules of Sailing. A certification test to become a certified Club Race Officer with US Sailing is optional.  The optional certification test will be available for each participate online upon completing the in person course, and can be accessed and taken over a multi-day period.
